ALL ABOUT IT

RUFF DRAFT WEST is the collection of art I've been working on for the past few years. I've been fascinated with the American West for most of my life, and do my best to capture some of its character through my paintings. It is a rugged, cruel, beautiful place. A place that can stand alone, but is part of a greater story. Just as the canyons are transformed by their environment over time, so refinement changes the makeup of us as individuals. Within every change of color in rock, she communicates another season of endurance. Another survival. Another loss. Every height and depth a proud tribute to her refinement process. Every small, imperfect glimpse connecting to a larger story.
